Our History

CHÁVEZ-SEPÚLVEDA & CASTAÑEDA, S.C. was created in 1996 by the merger of three law firms. Presentely the firm's senior partners are Jovita Chávez Sepúlveda and Heliodoro Castañeda.

The firm's client base consists of Mexican and foreign clients, including American, Asian and European.

Much of the activity of the firm involves our corporate clients' legal needs in Mexico. The founding partners saw the much needed existence of a law firm capable of providing legal services to the area's corporate presence matching their real needs, such as advise on how to proceed to start operations in Mexico, as well as providing support on how to continue doing profitable busines after start up of operations and to those that were already established.

Availability of expet labor advise is of outmost importance to interprises doing business in Mexico. Foreign corporations and individuals need professional legal advise when purchasing or renting propery for installations. Assisting our clients in these and the other areas of practice of our firm was primarely the reason for the merger and we continue to do so in an unparallelled professional way.
